Dear Friends & Colleagues:
Join me next week for the
FINAL two 2012 Atlantic events in DC. We’re going out with a bang with back-to-back events—the
America Works Summit, Monday, Dec. 10 (12pm) and the
Small Business Forum, Tuesday, Dec. 11 (9am).
At the AMERICA WORKS SUMMIT on
the afternoon of Monday, December 10, experts will convene at
the "Pavilion Room" of the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center to
tackle major policy issues of today ranging from regulation and the
fiscal cliff to technological innovation and infrastructure
creation, focusing on how we can create a climate to restore America’s
competitive edge in trade and high-wage job creation. The programs are
featured below — but among those speaking are The Honorable
ALICE RIVLIN,
Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve;
The Honorable PETER G. PETERSON, Founder and Chairman of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce; The Honorable
ROBERT D. HORMATS,
U.S. Department of State Undersecretary for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment; and others.
On the following morning, Tuesday, December 11, we will hold our SMALL
BUSINESS FORUM at
the Gallup Building, featuring panel discussions, keynote speeches, and
case studies focusing on small business, job creation, and
successful ventures in entrepreneurship. We have an incredible lineup
of speakers including the co-founders of
SWEETGREEN, Nicolas Jammet, Jonathan Neman, and Nathaniel Ru, a co-founder of
REDDIT Alexis Ohanian and others.
