CRS Rice Bowl

Dear Friend, "When I was young, my mom would split one egg among four children." That's a sobering statement. I had to read it a few times to let it sink in. One egg for four children. How often do I scramble three or four eggs just to serve on the side of toast, hardly giving it a second thought? READ NORMA'S STORY   One egg is not enough for four children. Norma knew that when she was young, and she knows it now, as a mother with a son of her own. Her story is one of resilience. Let's continue praying for one another—and for our shared resilience—as we journey through Lent.
