U.S. and Philippines Sign Ten-Year Military Deal
The United States and the Philippines signed a ten-year defense pact Monday
that will give the U.S. military greater access to Philippine bases.
The agreement was finalized in conjunction with President Barack Obama's
visit to Manila, the last leg on his Asia tour (NYT).
