Here is Andrew Sullivan writing in today's
Sunday
Times in London. He makes the decent point that that, for all his
vacillation, Obama now finds himself with the chance of a diplomatic
triumph in Syria: the elimination of the chemical weapons stockpiles,
resumed peace talks, a collaborative relationship with Russia, and the
war party in Washington sidelined. All without firing a shot. Quite
reminds one of the Cold War.
