North Korea Removes Half of Fuel Rods From Reactor, Kyodo Says

July 17 (Bloomberg) -- North Korea has removed half of the 8,000 nuclear fuel rods from its Yongbyon reactor as it disables the plant under an accord, Japan's Kyodo News said, citing unidentified officials involved in six-nation disarmament talks.
