The anti-life / pro-abortion extremism of the Democrats can no longer be ignored or debated!
In the Senate, the Democrats united to block a bill that would protect newborn babies who survived a botched abortion from being killed.
Over in the House pro-life lawmakers have asked repeatedly – every single day of the legislative session since early February, in fact – that the Democrat-controlled leadership allow a vote on a similar anti-infanticide bill to the floor for a vote.  The Democrats have refused every single time.

Fortunately for the babies, pro-life lawmakers refused to abandon the field of battle. Last Tuesday a petition to discharge H.R.962 – the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act – was filed and made available for House members to sign.  The petition was started by Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) during the first vote series of the day. Members of the GOP conference formed a line behind Rep.Wagner to sign the petition.

If the petition is signed by a simple majority of House Members (218), a motion to discharge H.R. 962 can be offered on the floor. The petition will be available to be signed throughout the remainder of the 116^th Congress.
To reach 218, 21 Democrats must join the 197 Republicans currently serving in the House.  As of last Wednesday, 198 members have signed, including two Democrats.

One thing that’s become abundantly clear in the fight to protect newborn babies is this:

No lawmaker who supports infanticide should ever get the vote of a single American.
But how many of your fellow Americans know that the Democrats are nothing more than tyrants who want to take away the right to life not only the unborn but also from newborn babies?
How many know that Senate Democrats filibustered S.311 and kept the Senate from voting on a bill that would give legal protection to NEWBORN BABIES who survived a botched abortion?
Same with House Resolution H.R.962.  How many people know that the Democrat-controlled House has refused to even hold hearings on this bill.  Not once or twice but over TWO DOZEN times … and counting.
Did you know this?  In all probability you didn’t.  Nor do most Americans.
That’s because no one in the pro-abortion fake news media wants you to know.
In fact, all three major networks – ABC, CBS and NBC – along with their anti-life partners at CNN and MSNBC refused to report on the Democrat pro-infanticide filibuster of S.311 or the daily refusal of the pro-infanticide Democratic majority in the House to so much as debate H.R.962.
But this is something all Americans must know and need to know.
That’s because all human rights – education, employment, health care, housing ... even freedom itself – depends on the fundamental and God-given right to life.  Take away a newborn child’s right to life and you take away all of her subsequent rights.
But the Democrats are so rabidly pro-abortion and so tyrannically anti-life that they are determined to impose their godless baby killing agenda on the entire country.  They have set themselves up as God and have decided that they have the power to decide which among us shall live and which shall die.
And they will succeed in that unless you and all pro-life warriors rise up and stop them!
Which is exactly what I’m counting on you to do right now.
Your unborn and NEWBORN brothers and sisters are counting on you even more than I am.  We are their only line of defense.  Well, us and President Trump.  He’s been more outspoken on this subject than any President since Roe v Wade.
During his State of the Union address he called on Congress to ban all late-term abortions.  While pro-life lawmakers stood and cheered, their Democrat colleagues sat stone-faced.  And when Senate Democrats blocked kept Sen. Sasse’s anti-infanticide bill, the President sent out this tweet:

Senate Democrats just voted against legislation to prevent the killing of newborn infant children. The Democrat position on abortion is now so extreme that they don’t mind executing babies AFTER birth .... This will be remembered as one of the most shocking votes in the history of Congress. If there is one thing we should all agree on, it’s protecting the lives of innocent babies.

Without question God’s precious babies have a champion in President Trump.
But defending these babies is a job for all pro-life Americans, and especially those of us in the Priests for Life family.
That’s why it’s so important that you continue to partner with Priests for Life and provide the funds that will allow us to use every means of communication at our disposal to bypass the pro-abortion news media and take the truth about the Democrats directly to the American people.
As I told you earlier, the vast majority of media people are part of the pro-abortion mob.  They will never do anything that might cause people to rise up and reject the lie of abortion.
That leaves it to us to do this all-important job.
Fortunately, as I’ve told in prior letters and emails, Priests for Life has discovered the perfect way to do this.  Using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram we are talking directly with the American people … especially young people.
We’re giving them the facts they’re not hearing anywhere else.
And we’re already seeing a huge impact.  For example, after the Senate Democrats did their pro-infanticide filibuster of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the people who operate a polling company called Marist did a follow-up survey from the one it conducted in January on people’s attitudes on abortion.  This was a real “Before” and “After” if you will.  Look at the results:

• In January, BEFORE the Democrats revealed their support for infanticide, 55% of Americans considered themselves “Pro-Choice” to 47% who identified themselves “Pro-life.”
• One month later, AFTER the Democrats did their pro-infanticide filibuster, the percentage of “Pro-Choice” Americans dropped to 47% while the “Pro-life” percentage swelled to an equal 47%

That’s a swing of 17-points!  And other polls show that the overwhelming majority of Americans OPPOSE “late term” abortions.  That’s ALL Americans:  Democrats, Republicans, Independents, men, women, liberals, conservatives, “pro-choice, pro-life … doesn’t matter.
There’s no longer any doubt:  America is moving to the pro-life cause.
This is critically important as people begin to make up their minds on which Party they want to lead the country going forward.
One of our most important tasks going forward is to convince our fellow citizens that no one who supports infanticide is qualified to hold any elected position.  After all, if a lawmaker is willing to take away a person’s unalienable right to life, then he or she will deny other rights as well.
            So our task is clear:

Sound the alarm with our fellow Americans and tell them that the Democrats have turned themselves into the Party of Infanticide.

And that’s exactly what your donation to Priests for Life will help us do.
