The deadly bombings in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday left more than 300 dead, and hundreds wounded. This special issue of news from the Pope's missions focuses on the devastation faced by the Catholic community at St. Anthony's Shrine in Kochcikade, Colombo, and at St. Sebastian's Church in Negombo. We stand in solidarity with these communities, in prayer and support. (Above, the blood spattered statue of Jesus from St. Sebastian's Church.)
