Why so many health care workers are being infected
Protective gear such as gloves and gowns are critical to protect health-care workers from the Ebola virus but don’t go far enough, doctors say as the World Health Organization announced it’s shut down a laboratory in Sierra Leone after a health worker was infected.The Ebola virus outbreak in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria is the largest ever with at least 1,427 deaths and 2,615 infected since March.
