Croatia joins EU oil embargo against Iran
Zagreb (AFP) March 22, 2012Future European Union member state Croatia announced Thursday that it had joined the bloc's embargo of Iranian oil. Josko Klisovic, the country's assistant foreign affairs minister, said the decision stipulates a ban on imports of Iranian crude into Croatia, as well as all petroleum and petrochemical products. The ban also covers exports of equipment for the oil industry to Iran.
