Pragmatism, and (Geo)Politics".

Summary:
The past few months have been fortuitous ones for
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who rose to
power in the 2010 presidential elections, and the
country’s courts have been of immense help. In March,
a constitutional court ruling allowed Yanukovych to
consolidate parliamentary power, and shortly
afterwards, it issued another ruling that effectively
blocked many political parties from contesting regional
elections on 24 October.
