The discussions took place through a series of phone calls with his counterparts from Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, and Gambia. During his call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Prince Faisal discussed the situation in Palestinian territories and the need for immediate action to halt severe Israeli violations and support the establishment of a secure and stable Palestinian state. In his conversation with Dr. Ayman Safadi, Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi minister emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire and the importance of Arab and Islamic efforts to achieve a fair and comprehensive solution for the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state in accordance with international resolutions. Prince Faisal also spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the Palestinian issue within the context of Islamic efforts to restore the legitimate rights of Palestine and its people.
