At least another 400,000 are believed to have illegally entered since then. On Monday, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol reported 14,500 migrant encounters on the southern border, the highest single-day total ever recorded, surpassing the previous record of more than 12,000 set on Dec. 5. The Harvard/Harris poll quoted in Monday’s edition of The Scroll found that 92% of American voters underestimate the number of illegal entries taking place under Biden. When prompted with the correct numbers, 70% favor “new, stricter policies to reduce the flow of people coming across the border.”
