But critical policy challenges are not on track for effective solutions. This Shultz Energy and Climate Task Force essay addresses three elements of that unmet agenda: 1) planning for reliability and resilience as grids begin to operate in novel ways; 2) building transmission lines in places of greatest value; and 3) reforming public and private incentives for innovation.
