Months into the coronavirus pandemic, we can begin to measure the devastating impact on Americans. From crippling financial blows to deaths and illnesses, Americans are foundering. And no groups have been more affected than minority communities, who were already disproportionately burdened by wage gaps and chronic illnesses before the pandemic. This Forum will examine these differences, as well as consider approaches in the next six months that can help minority communities. As background, The Forum will draw on results from a recent poll, The Impact of Coronavirus on Households Across America, conducted by NPR, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Harvard Chan School.
