The rectory in Naroosura was built in 2003
by the late Father Angelo Insam, but funds at that time could not cover
the high-quality materials necessary to withstand Kenya’s rainy season
year after year. Major repairs are needed for this rectory to remain
standing.
The amazing priests who call this
debilitated building “home” serve a population of 38,000 people. You can
only imagine how tired they are by the end of the day. However, they
are often unable to find rest because of the leaky roof and compromised
sewage system. The living conditions are unfit and dangerous for these
men who have faithfully given their lives to serve some of the poorest
of God’s people.
