The
Sisters of Puducherry in India have given their lives in selfless
service to the Church and the poorest of the poor. Currently, there are
24 elderly Sisters living at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Sugantham residence in
need of rest and frequent medical care. After years of serving others,
they need you to help them!
The nearest hospital is 18 miles away and
much too difficult for the aging Sisters to walk. Hiring transportation
has proven to be incredibly expensive because of the frequency that it
is needed. Sister Mary is hoping to raise enough money to purchase a
truck that will transport the elderly Sisters to and from their many
doctors’ visits.
