| O Come, O Come Emmanuel | ||||||||
|
"O come, Desire of nations, bind In one the hearts of all mankind; Bid every strife and quarrel cease And fill the world with heaven's peace." |

| Small and vulnerable in the midst of chaos, Jesus was born into a world of insecurity, tyranny and injustice. This time was chosen by God for His entry, so the world might change. And it did. That babe in a manger, born among strangers, altered the world. From that first night, a new way of living commenced, governed by the law of love. How blessed we are to know that He chose such a difficult time for the incarnation so that God could be with us. Rejoice! Rejoice! God is with us. | ||||||||
| Our own lives can be filled with turmoil, challenges and fears, which many of us face with faith and prayer, knowing God is with us. With your support for our ministries, you help those who are often struggling, physically, emotionally or spiritually — vulnerable people who learn through your generous gifts that God is with them, too. | ||||||||
| The Friars are praying for you in gratitude for all you do to help heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart and to bring home those who have lost their way. May the beauty and joy of Christmas be with you and your loved ones all your days. | ||||||||
