Did President Obama Threaten National Security in Negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership?


Dean Baker, Truthout: TPP proponents are arguing that the deal's rejection by Congress would jeopardize ties between the US and Asia. The claim is that if Congress is not prepared to approve the TPP, then countries like Japan and South Korea will no longer be able to rely on defense commitments.
