Pentagon Special Ops Killing Pregnant Afghan Women was "appropriate" use of force

". . . the Defense Department trumpeted an inspector general's report crediting the Marine Corps for producing the first "clean audit" of its finances. . . Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), went further, saying the inspector general's report "wasn’t worth the paper it was written on."

That’s standard operating procedure for any DOD investigation of itself it would seem. Especially when investigating allegations of war crimes by its own members, such as the attack on the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz, or in this investigation:

U.S. and allied forces make “tactical mistakes;” our enemies commit war crimes, if DOD investigations are to be believed. I’ll go out on a limb and predict any DOD audit of itself never will resolve "internal control deficiencies” so that a DOD audit would ever actually be reliable.
