UK debates airstrikes in Syria

David Cameron is calling a one-day Commons debate and vote tomorrow over UK air strikes against so-called Islamic State in Syria. Now the issue of legality has been more or less settled (although we will hear more about it in the future, as we did over Libya), the main issues at stake are effectiveness and political consequences.
