Steve Clemons Tue, Nov 12, 2013 at 2:51 PM
Dear Colleagues and Friends:

The WASHINGTON IDEAS FORUM starts tomorrow morning at 9:00 am at the NEWSEUM and runs through Thursday 1 pm (See full agenda and times below) -- and on behalf of The Atlantic, Aspen Institute and Newseum, I want to invite you to join us.  I realize it's late notice and also realize that many of you are around the US and the world.

So, I wanted to provide a link for those who wanted to watch remotely:

The schedule is packed with fascinating people who will discuss consequential issues of the day.  I hesitate to call out folks but the roster includes National Security Advisor SUSAN RICE, Senator TED CRUZ, US Trade Representative MICHAEL FROMAN, Senator JOHN McCAIN, House Democratic Leader NANCY PELOSI, UBER CEO TRAVIS KALANICK, Senator CHUCK SCHUMER, Google Glass inventor ASTRO TELLER, Steve Jobs biographer WALTER ISAACSON, Senator JOE MANCHIN, as well as Senators AMY KLOBUCHAR, TOM COBURN, and SUSAN COLLINS.  House Rep JOHN DELANEY will join us as well as Notre Dame President JOHN JENKINS and Secretary of Agriculture TOM VILSACK.  Among the journalists with this are JAMES FALLOWS, CHUCK TODD, JAMES BENNET, GWEN IFILL, MOLLY BALL, CORBY KUMMER, JAKE TAPPER, JONATHAN KARL, ANDREA MITCHELL, and many others.

The morning sessions tomorrow were 'ticketed' and have sold out -- but I have a limited number of media passes available for credentialed members of the press.  The sessions that start at 12:30 pm in the Annenberg Theater of the Newseum are free and open to attend.  ALL the sessions can be watched live online -- morning and afternoon.

If you would like to join us, zap me an RSVP to this address.  All other information follows below.

Best regards,
