"Fiscal cliff" is no longer in the distance for policymakers
The
gears in Washington, D.C., are beginning to turn with respect to the
impending "fiscal cliff." On Wednesday, Treasury Secretary Timothy
Geithner met with House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp,
R-Mich. Today, the committee is convening a rare bipartisan meeting to
discuss issues that must be addressed by year-end. Politico (Washington, D.C.)
