To commemorate
the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Federation of
American Scientists will publish a series of Perspectives written by FAS
members and experts.
As a valued
FAS member, we invite you to submit an opinion on lessons learned from
the Cuban Missile Crisis and its impact on nuclear security.
GUIDELINES:
Opinions
should be no more than 500 words. Each article must stay on topic and
feature relevant content. It is unacceptable to copy and paste material
written by others without acknowledgment. If your article includes
citations, please provide a link to the source. Submissions must be
received by October 12, 2012.
PUBLICATION:
If selected,
your opinion will receive wide notice among tens of thousands of
influential readers. The Perspectives will be featured in the FAS
Roundup e-newsletter and will be highlighted on the Homepage of FAS.org,
which receives about one million unique visitors per month. FAS will
publish 10 essays.
