Like many Stratfor products, "How Pakistanis View America's Afghan Policy" is little more than a cut & paste. It makes no reference to the Indo-Pak competition for what the Pakis see as their "Helm's Deep" in the next war on the sub-continent. Granted, the US failed to ferret out the Taliban and Al-Qaeda after 9/11, but the ISID's unwillingness to cut loose their Taliban creatures has served to radicalize Paki society and given India (which offers the Affies carrots of trade, aid and investment) a growing presence on Pakistan's left flank, while Pakistan offers the Affies only the sticks of assassinations and IEDs.
