The top commander in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal and U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry testified before the Senate and House Armed Services Cmtes. to defend the military buildup and the 2011 transition strategy in Afghanistan. They said that fighting the Taliban is their main focus.
