The visit to Iran by Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid, prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, a little more than a month after one to the UAE by US President George W Bush, highlights the strengthening of links between the two Gulf powers in the face of US attempts to isolate Tehran.
