Lent Season to Begin Sunday (!) | Jack Hartjes: There are liturgical problems with the traditional way of counting the 40 days of Lent. Sundays didn't count, but they are actually Lent's most significant days. Holy Thursday through Holy Saturday were counted, but they belong to a new season called the Triduum. This post shows a new way to count the 40 days of Lent.
