California utility PG&E moves closer to $575 million rate hike | The Sacramento Bee: PG&E said it has reached agreement with consumer groups on a $575 million rate hike. The bankrupt utility said it will spend much of it on wildfire safety. The California Public Utilities Commission must OK it.
