CRS Emergency Response

CRS Emergency Response

Just a few days ago, Hurricane Dorian slammed into the Bahamas and has not stopped battering the island. It's been more than thirty-six hours.
While hurricanes and storms can be forecast and expected in some areas, it doesn't change the fact that they still devastate lives and uproot families—no matter how prepared they might have been.
Even as I write, heavy rains continue, making relief efforts difficult. Communication is limited, but Catholic Relief Services—along with local partners—is working to assess needs as quickly as possible.
And, Michele, we still have hope—you.
Help Now

Even as Hurricane Dorian moves on, we will continue to help communities fully recover—with your help.
Thank you for your caring generosity!
Peace and light,

Sean L. Callahan
President & CEO
