These
nuns probably didn’t expect to become pig farmers when they answered
the call to serve God in a religious vocation, but each day they give
everything they have to make sure that the people of Africa are fed in
mind, body, and spirit.
The religious Sisters in Africa make a
world of difference in the lives of those they serve. They provide
schools, hospitals, and clinics in addition to the farms they’ve
established. Perhaps most importantly, they provide compassionate
friendship to those who need it most, leading many to the love of Jesus.
