Good News from the Daughters of St. Paul - a new generator!

The New Generator Is Installed!
While the winter months wore on, we were amazingly blessed with gorgeous weather, until the last few weeks when the generator was finally ready for the last stages of its installation. Now we can be sure that whenever the electricity goes out (which can be a year-round occurrence here!), the most urgent needs will be taken care of immediately.

I took the photo above on the bottom right after Mass as Sr. Susan John was accompanying Sr. Caritas to the elevator to go upstairs to the infirmary for breakfast. Wow! I thought. At this point Sr. Caritas absolutely no longer would be able to climb the stairs, even in an emergency. Now the elevator is powered by the generator and will always be available for our senior sisters. Thank you so much!

This is the last photo of the old generator (below). One of the sisters overheard an interesting conversation among the men who were removing it from the building. As they were disconnecting it, they commented that this generator is from the 60s and is considered a classic in this line of generators. They said: "It belongs in a museum!" We completely agree.

Again, thanks so much!
The entire world is our mission field. We must love all people in order to do good to all.
