In France, a whiplash from rotten Syria policy

Considering
the fact that “Armed moderates” are practically non-existent in Syria,
France announced in 2012 that it was delivering “lethal weapons” to
Syrian rebels. French Arms deals were also with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and
Qatar; states at the forefront of supporting Salafi networks.
