It's a curious position being taken by the tea party/conservative movement -- the idea that only kids from wealthy families are deserving of a college education, and that the economically-disadvantaged yet intellectually-gifted potential students are "elitists" and should be scorned and denied higher educational opportunities.
Mr. Medved should stick to the movies -- he knows nothing about real life.
