To me, this alleged plot has all the earmarks of a false flag operation like the "Lavon affair," a failed Israeli covert operation (code-named Operation Susannah), in Egypt in 1954. In this operation,Israeli military intelligence recruited a group of Egyptian Jews to plant bombs inside Egyptian, American, and British-owned targets. The attacks designed to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood or Egyptian Communists. Israel's aim was to ensure that the British government would see a compelling reason to continue to occupy the Suez Canal zone.
