To be honest, since this article I am hugely disappointed by Uri Avnery!
To promote "some form of world governance" is not only an open afront to souvereign nation states, but also the beginning of the end of democracy. Through world governance, we can expect even more wars fought by the USA in other parts of the world. And by the way, to support military adventures to promote peace will only allow for more violence. Oh Uri, when do you get it, violence generates even more violence.
