EBOLA

Mali’s High Risk
An 800-kilometer border with Guinea, chaotic border checkpoints and a fragile-at-best health system cause serious concerns for Mali’s ability to stave off Ebola. Mali's National Centre for Disease Control has several confirmed cases and great worries about being able to contain them.

Last week authorities quarantined one of Bamako’s busiest hospitals—Clinique Pasteur—after 2 staff were confirmed to have Ebola and one died.
