$127 million dollars of FEMA funds have been approved
New Jersey State Bar Association, ABA Young Lawyers Division and FEMA help residents
A toll-free legal aid line is now available for people facing legal issues due to Hurricane Sandy.
Residents who cannot afford to pay an attorney can call the help line to request free legal assistance at:

As of Nov. 9, some Sandy recovery stats:

More than 340,000 individuals in New York, New Jersey, &
Connecticut have registered for FEMA assistance. More than $368 million
has been approved.
- FEMA has more than 5,800 staff deployed to areas impacted by Sandy supporting response/recovery efforts.
-
21 disaster recovery centers are open in New York; 12 in New Jersey; 7
in Connecticut. At a disaster recovery center, survivors can talk with
staff from FEMA & their state.

Natural Gas Restoration
Monmouth County
Natural Gas companies are
planning for the re-pressurization of 5.2 miles of main in Sea Bright.
They have completed 43 percent of their service assessments in coastal
Monmouth, and installed 350 feet of main. In the Bayshore region of the
county, they have completed 96 percent of our service assessments.
Ocean County Mainland
They
have completed 4,900 service assessments. 1,180 meters are ready for
natural gas restoration, and 200 meters have been turned back on.
