Give Them A Place To Celebrate Mass
The Burundian Civil War and conflicts in the
Congo continue to force families to flee their homes and find safety.
Over 11,000 Catholics have found their way to three refugee camps in
Tanzania.
Every Sunday, they gather for Mass in
makeshift tents or under shade trees. In the summer, the heat makes it
nearly unbearable to attend Mass. In the rainy season it is impossible
to reach the site.
A chapel would greatly serve these communities and provide a spiritual home for those who have lost so much.
