Power outage: Folsom, Orangevale SMUD customers regain power | The Sacramento Bee: SMUD crews have restored power to thousands in the Folsom and Orangevale areas Tuesday morning. More than 27,000 customers lost power starting just before 9 a.m. The outage was caused by Mylar balloons.
