This
is a time for the Church to rediscover the meaning of the mission
entrusted to her by the Lord on the day of Easter: to be a sign and an
instrument of the Father's mercy (cf.Jn 20:21-23). For this reason, the
Holy Year must keep alive the desire to know how to welcome the numerous
signs of the tenderness which God offers to the whole world and, above
all, to those who suffer, who are alone and abandoned, without hope of
being pardoned or feeling the Father's love.
(Pope Francis, April 11, 2015) |
| A joyous and blessed Easter to you during this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy! |
| We
proclaim the Risen Christ and His glory. The Friars are ever grateful
for your mercy, compassion and help to bring reconciliation to those who
exist on the margins and who need healing. Your generous support of the
ministries of the Friars of the Atonement is a sign of this tenderness
that is your gift from God to share with the world, the visible face of
the invisible Father, a sign of your faith in Christ. |
| We remember you and your loved ones in all our Easter Prayers and Masses and hope that you will continue to pray with us and for us.
At Graymoor, during our Easter Vigil Mass, the Franciscan Friars of the
Atonement celebrate this mercy and gift of At-One-Ment given to us
through the Resurrection of the Lamb of God. May it be the will of God
that we continue to bring the experience of God’s mercy to others. |
| Have a Blessed Easter filled with joy and hope! |

| Yours in Christ, |
