'Behold, God is standing at the door and knocking' This week's prayer comes from the words of sponsored elderly in Antsirabe, Madagascar. Before joining the Unbound community there, many of the elderly felt isolated, preferring to live in solitude rather than be a burden on their children and grandchildren. In this place, a choir began, and 150 sponsored elderly sang this song, which they wrote as a prayer to God, for the gift of loving fellowship they had found in each other. Father! Mother! Father, Mother think about this question Older and younger siblings hear and think about Do we need salvation while we are still alive? … Behold, God is standing at the door and knocking Open your heart to let Him in, He would like to share the meal with you And to walk through life with you Let Him in We are a community of elderly, come with us. Someone said that we do not need God They have believed this for a long time, but that is a deception. Release it. We are aging people who search for friends, so come with us. As elders, let it be known through the best and the worst, we would never leave God We would not be sentenced to death, so we choose salvation We do not hesitate because that is the basis of the future, which is ours forever We are aging who search for friends so come with us.
