Saudi aid to include $1 bln Egypt cbank deposit

 

This is noteworthy because it illustrates a shift in the balance of power affecting Egypt and suggests that Saudi Arabia may be much more relevant to Egypt's futu8re than a cash-strapped United States.  With Saudi Arabia apparently decoupling itself from the U.S. except with regard to counter-terrorism, it can no longer be taken for granted.
