Taxing troubles
Trump spirals down as Congress takes a break without confirming a Supreme Court justice

With two volatile presidential candidates, anything can happen before the election Nov. 8, but after the revelation Sunday
of Donald Trump’s business non-acumen and his apparent non-payment of
federal taxes for years, can we declare his candidacy definitively dead?
I
ask not from insensate joy at the now likely election of Hillary
Clinton, but rather from a realist’s assessment that Mr. Trump has now
so seriously offended or disappointed so many voters that he could not
possibly win, even against the sometimes feckless Ms. Clinton. http://www.post-gazette.com/opinion/dan-simpson/2016/10/05/Taxing-troubles-nbsp/stories/201610040025
