Dear Michele T, |
Every
day people ask me to pray for their personal needs, including their
deceased loved ones. I hope you received my letter inviting you to
include your loved ones who have passed in our prayers here at Graymoor,
beginning on All Souls Day and all during November. There is always
more power in unity, even in unified prayers.
|
Will you please take a moment now to send me the names of deceased loved ones you'd like the Friars to include in our prayers? On November 2nd,
All Souls Day, an All Souls Day Prayer Candle will be lit which will
burn during the entire All Souls month of November Masses in remembrance
of your deceased loved ones and those of many others. |
|
|
When you send the names of your loved ones,
please don't hesitate to also let me know of any additional needs for
which you might currently be seeking urgent prayers. As a great and
mighty community of believers, we will ask the Lord of All Mercy to
please grant to your beloved deceased all the blessings of eternal peace
and comfort to you in your time of need here on earth. |
November
will be a very special month of prayer, beginning on All Souls Day. I
know after losing a loved one, the sense of loss is deep and lasting.
Life has changed for those left behind. But, we take comfort in knowing
the memories of our loved ones stay with us. |
Please
allow us to pray for the family and friends who have gone before you
that they may be in the presence of God and that you'll one day be
united with them in the glory of Heaven. |
|
In the love and peace of St. Francis, |

P.S. When you send a gift of $20 or more, we'll light a votive in memory and honor of your deceased loved ones. Please send the names of your departed loved ones before All Souls Day on November 2nd. |
