The Petraeus wrist-slap

The Petraeus wrist-slap

When regular folks get in trouble, they go to prison, but our betters live by other rules.

How will former CIA director David Petraeus afford a proposed Justice Department deal to pay a $40,000 fine for sharing classified information with his mistress?
Easy, says national security lawyer Mark Zaid. Zaid told reporter Michael Isikoff, "He'll make that in one speech."
Zaid is one of several defense lawyers blasting an egregious double standard. Low-level leakers can languish in jail for years, while a high-flyer like Petraeus can do his time (i.e., pay his fine) with an hour's work on the rubber chicken circuit.http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2015/03/24/david-petraeus-scandal-classified-information-column/70332612/
