What ISIL Is Doing Now Points to a Long War

What ISIL Is Doing Now Points to a Long War

The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Yemen, and even Syria announced their opposition to the international campaign against ISIL and declared their support for the terrorist organization which established the Islamic State last June. While this will not be a turning point for ISIL, it should be for the supporters of the MBs in the West and among Muslims who abhor the brutality of ISIL in Syria and Iraq.
Still, the main fight will be in Iraq and Syria. Sources in the East of Syria reported that ISIL “vanished” just few hours after President Barack Obama gave his “strategy speech.” The organization disappeared from their social media outlets, its usual propagandists closed their pages, its equipment was pulled out of sight and its troops left their positions and kept in the mode of continuous moving. Of course, that does not mean they have done all that out of fear. Fear, which should be substantiated by symbolic bombardments in Syria, will affect only the new recruits who are not fully indoctrinated yet.  The hard core fighters really do want to die.
