US Congress Says “No” to Obama Iraq Deployments

By a 370-40 vote, the House passed Concurrent Resolution 105, barring the President from ordering any combat operations in Iraq without formal prior Congressional authorization. Despite the recognized danger posed by the Islamic State, both to the government of Iraq and potentially to US personnel in Iraq, Congress refused to let Obama deploy military forces without the Congressional approval specified in the US Constitution.http://mebriefing.com/?p=932
