This is about as clear a statement of what's at stake in the global status of the dollar as one will see.  What it fails to point out is that the rising frustrations with the US strong-arming it cites are becoming a significant factor in the current undermining of the dollar's status in trade settlement and, by extension, of New York's position in global finance.
