JPMorgan questions access to Bloomberg user data
Bloomberg has come under fire from two of its largest clients after
JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs expressed concern that Bloomberg News
journalists had used private details of how bankers use its powerful
financial data terminals to steer their reporting.
Sources at JPMorgan said they had raised informal concerns with
Bloomberg News that its reporters had used data about when its employees
logged in and out of the terminal to inform their coverage of last
year’s “London whale” trading loss.
