God-given talents

God-given talents
If you enter a home in Honduras, you might see curtains made of thorns and seeds, elaborately painted and strung in intricate designs. The curtains are used as room dividers and are a source of income for a group of CFCA mothers. Making them is a handicraft passed down from generation to generation.
Making and selling thorn and seed curtains offers mothers of sponsored children a lifeline. This lifeline isn't solely financial, although that is a big help to their families. It also builds friendship and community among the women.

Please pray
Lord, we thank you for the artistic gifts given to the mothers of our sponsored friends. We pray that they would see their own God-given beauty reflected in their handicraft, and that you would bless their efforts to provide for their families. Amen.

Blessings,
CFCA Prayer Team
