If you enter a home in Honduras, you might see curtains made of thorns and
seeds, elaborately painted and strung in intricate designs. The curtains are used
as room dividers and are a source of income for a group of CFCA mothers. Making
them is a handicraft passed down from generation to generation. Making and selling thorn and seed curtains offers mothers of sponsored children a lifeline. This lifeline isn't solely financial, although that is a big help to their families. It also builds friendship and community among the women. | |

| Please pray |
| Lord, we thank you for the artistic gifts given to the mothers of our sponsored friends. We pray that they would see their own God-given beauty reflected in their handicraft, and that you would bless their efforts to provide for their families. Amen. |
